Las Vegas Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Arthur Cambeiro

Mayo Clinic Trained and Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery, Arthur M. Cambeiro, M.D. is a Las Vegas plastic surgeon. He is a native of the area and graduated from Bishop Gorman Preparatory School. He subsequently graduated from the University of Southern California in the Psychobiology Honors Program.

After graduating from college, Dr. Cambeiro received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Colorado where he was honored with the Owens-Swan award for the most promising surgeon in his medical class. A Skilled Surgeon

In transition to general surgery residency, Dr. Cambeiro embarked on a journey to Honduras performing missionary work as a general surgeon at the local medical clinics. He then resided in Phoenix, Arizona where he was trained for five years in general and vascular/trauma surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. During his training, Dr. Cambeiro served as Chief Surgery Resident and scored 99th percentile in the nation on his American Board of Surgery in-service examinations.

He then continued his education in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his time there, Dr. Cambeiro participated with Global Health Outreach, donating his surgical skills to correct congenital facial defects on children living in Vietnam. His experience at the Mayo Clinic has been invaluable and he is extremely proud to have been a part of an organization whose hospitals are consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the nation (US News and World Report).
