The woman in these photos is a 23 year old Las Vegas breast augmentation patient who works in the entertainment service industry. When she came to my plastic surgery practice for her initial consultation, she was a B cup, but wanted to be a C cup. She felt her breasts were not proportionate to her body and she wanted to enhance her appearance by creating a fuller, sexier physique. During our consultation, she and I discussed the various implant options available and she chose high profile smooth, round implants filled with saline. There are 2 basic types of implants - saline-filled and silicone gel-filled - and each offers different benefits. Silicone implants, for example, are considered by some women to have a more natural look and feel than saline implants. With saline implants, on the other hand, a rupture is easier to detect and the implant may be easier to replace. When I perform breast enlargements for Las Vegas women, I often use smooth, round saline-filled implants as I have found that they produce very natural, flattering results. This patient’s implants were filled to 350cc and I performed the augmentation using an inframammary incision and submuscular placement of the implant. Visible scarring is minimal and, as the photos show, the results of the procedure are very flattering and natural-looking. As she requested, the procedure took her from a B cup to a C cup.
