The best candidate for a facelift is a man or woman whose face and neck have begun to sag, but whose skin has some elasticity and whose bone structure is strong and well-defined. Most of our Las Vegas facelift patients are in their forties to sixties, but facelifts can be done successfully on people in their seventies or eighties as well.
A facelift may be combined with other procedures, such as eyelid surgery, forehead lifting, or skin resurfacing, either at the time of the facelift or in subsequent operations.
A facelift cannot stop the aging process. It can improve the most visible lines of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and re-draping the skin of your face and neck.
