The best candidate for a face lift is a man or woman whose face and neck have begun to sag, but whose skin has some elasticity and whose bone structure is strong and well-defined. Most of our facelift patients in Las Vegas are in their 40s to 60s, but facelifts can be done successfully on people in their 70s or 80s as well.
Younger patients with less advanced sagging, can choose a mini face lift which involves smaller incisions and a shorter recovery period than a complete facelift. Dr. Cambiero often combines face lifts with other procedures, such as eyelid surgery or forehead lifting, either at the time of the facelift or in subsequent operations.
