Women visit my practice for breast lift surgery in Las Vegas for a variety of reasons, including a desire to tighten breast skin, reshape breasts, and reduce areola size. Breast lifts can help women feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin. Here’s an outline of the surgery with and without implants, the consultation, and the procedure.
When You Need Implants With a Breast Lift
Breast volume decreases throughout life for a variety of reasons, including weight loss, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and aging. A breast lift without implants will result in a firmer, rounder shape, but the breasts will look smaller. To enhance both shape and size, I may recommend a simultaneous breast lift and breast augmentation. Breast implants alone do not correct sagging for most patients.
Nonsurgical Breast Lift
If you’d rather pursue a nonsurgical breast lift option, ThermiBreast may be of interest. This procedure utilizes radiofrequency (RF) energy to gently and gradually tighten the skin and tissues, providing subtle lifting and reshaping. The breast skin, tissues, and ligaments naturally tighten through increased blood flow and collagen production. This procedure is ideal for women with smaller breasts that sag. See patient photos.
Breast Lift Consultation
During your initial consultation, we’ll thoroughly discuss your desired results, medical history, the surgery process, and estimated cost. During your second consultation, you’ll have a physical examination and we’ll review all processes regarding the surgery.
Breast Lift Procedure
Incision placement will depend on the degree of lift needed. My Breast Lift page includes a table that compares incision placement options. I will remove the excess skin and move the nipple and areola to a higher position on the breast. General anesthetic is administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist, and since it’s an outpatient procedure, you’ll be able to go home the same day.
