How Does ThermiBreast Work?

How Is ThermiBreast Performed?
This treatment is performed with the ThermiTight® applicator, which is a long thin probe. It takes approximately one hour to complete. The breasts are numbed with a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort. Dr. Cambeiro then inserts the probe through tiny holes around the nipples, and RF energy is emitted to tighten the breast skin and tissues.
What Can I Expect From My ThermiBreast Recovery & Results?
The nipple areas will feel tender initially after treatment. It is common to have temporary swelling, bruising, or numbness of the breasts for about a week afterward. While recovery time is not required, ThermiBreast patients typically take 1—2 days off work.
While results vary, it takes about 3—6 months to achieve final results as collagen develops and the skin tightens. During ThermiBreast treatment, the nipples are typically raised 1—5 cm and remain that way for several years.

Is ThermiBreast a good alternative to breast augmentation or a breast lift?
Although a good skin tightening treatment for the breast area, ThermiBreast does not replicate the results achieved by inserting implants or having a breast lift. However, it is an excellent treatment to tighten sagging breast skin on small to medium-sized breasts for patients who don’t want surgery.
Will ThermiBreast help if I only need a modest lift?
Although the procedure may help temporarily, Dr. Cambeiro usually recommends a breast lift when a more significant lift is required. For example, he may use a peri-areolar mastopexy (incisions within the dark pigment of the nipple). However, with minimal sagging, a ThermiBreast treatment may be a good choice. But this can only be decided during a consultation and a face-to-face meeting.
Will I be able to breastfeed after having ThermiBreast?
That question is best handled during a consultation. However, you should not consider any type of breast enhancement treatment until after your pregnancy and nursing because both of these could affect the results of your augmentation, breast lift, or ThermiBreast treatments.
