How Often Should I Get a Botox Touch-Up?

Botox has been the go-to treatment for forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, and frown lines for two decades. Its popularity has grown because of its effectiveness and convenience. After a 15-minute, zero-downtime procedure, these facial flaws diminish, leaving a smooth skin texture for youthful radiance.

Though the results are extraordinary, they are not permanent. To maintain your results, additional treatments with touch-up injections are necessary.

What Is a Touch-Up Botox Injection?

Because results from Botox injections can take up to a week to fully reveal themselves, you may wish to improve your outcome. For example, if you are not completely satisfied with your appearance after the first week or two, you can return for an additional appointment.

How Long Do Botox Results Last?

Typically, Botox wears off after about four months. When the effects start to diminish, it’s time for additional injections. Many of our regular Botox patients develop a sense of how often they must return to see maximum, continuous results.

As with almost every cosmetic treatment, results are highly personalized. Your appointment frequency should become evident once you’ve got a few appointments under your belt. Typically, we recommend returning two or three times per year for maintenance.

Dermal Fillers to Combine With BOTOX

Dr. Cambeiro offers only the most advanced dermal fillers on the market today. These include JUVÉDERM, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC,  RADIESSE® and Restylane. After learning more about your cosmetic needs during your consultation, he will recommend the best filler to meet your aesthetic goals.

These non-surgical treatments effectively restore volume, add structure, and resolve the common signs of facial aging like wrinkles, lines, and folds. There are also treatments available to plump up your lip pout for a more sensual mouth.

The duration of dermal filler benefits varies, depending on factors such as your lifestyle, metabolism, and treatment site. Typically, the injected product disappears faster in areas more affected by muscle movement. Results last from six months to a year, except for JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC, which can last two years.
